America 250
Local history is fascinating! As a board member of the Constitution Island Association, the discovery of Native American artifacts on the site has unlocked the secrets that were waiting to be discovered. Working with Joe Ryan and the Living History Education Foundation we recorded Civil War reenactments and learned what is was like for the soldiers who fought on this land before West Point Military Academy even existed.
Educational
I have created promotional videos, educational videos and school event videos such as graduations and performances for many years. I have produced several YMCA promotional videos as well as for children’s day care videos that the parents love!
“What’s In Store” from the Jefferson Valley Mall
While still a student at Pace University, I created the What’s In Store show in the late 1980’s. The show was very creative for the time, including mall events, fashion shows, and commercials from stores in the mall. I wrote the scripts, recorded the video, and did the editing. The series was aired on the new local cable services and was available to 100,000 households, on the 36 channels available. The What’s In Store series has become a cult favorite depicting the shopping malls from the 1980’s.
